They really don't have cravings every 2 hours like we used to have. I know it's hard to believe when your life has been goverened by a plant for so long.
Wait til you get here, I go whole days without a single thought of smoking. It's brill.
I can't wait til I get to the penthouse apparently they go weeks and months without thinking of smoking.
Imagine how cool that would be to go a month without thinking about smoking *sigh*, on the same note it was so nice to sit in the "No Smoking" at the local coffee shop and not have to feel like a gold fish in a tank (Glass smoking section)
My regular waiter was soooo shocked when I PROUDLY said table for two NO smoking, he is so used to me saying smoking *Big GRIN*
Suppose I will have to get used to the new waiters in no smoking or ask them to change stations LOL
I am glad to see you always so upbeat glad all is going well for you thus far.
I remember those glass cubicles in a few places here in the states. You smell so bad when you come out, the smoke just sticks to your clothes and everything yuck!
There was one in the airport that you didn't even need to light your ciggie when entering lol, you just walk in and breathe in haha!!! The saddest part was I always went in there when I would go to that airport, unbelievable!!
Oh God, yes, I remember the airport ones too. It was like being in a sheep pen and how it reeked! Even at the time I didn't like it much (and in those days I would have crawled 10 miles over broken glass if it meant I could have a fag :o)
Lovely post, your on your way, your mind set seems so right to quit long term, keep going my lovely doing great not easy this quitting but you can do it
I remember them from the airports and yeah they were awful but made worse by poor ventilation. I think they did it on purpose to try and put us off!
I wonder where in the world you can and can't smoke indoors now??
Any of the states in the US?
I've just fallen into wikki soooo interesting. List of countries round the world and details of their restrictions. I was surprised about SA but quite a few countries have partial bans. You live and learn. 28 US states with total bans.
What a perfect choice of words for a thread title - makes me think of the lovely smell of mown grass in the spring - nice word association for me since tis the complete opposite to the smell of smoke
