Well its the 26th tomoz and the end of my first month.

Got it down to nothing more than a mini loz first thing in the morning and a few pieces of gum throughout the day.

Strange thing is though i still feel like something is missing !!! I know i wont ever smoke again but i really do need to get this sorted so i can get on with my life.

Keep hearing about allen Carr so have just ordered the paper back version to see if there is anything in there that can help me.

Congrats on your first month, that's brilliant! The feeling of something missing is awful isn't it, you know you don't want to smoke but there's just an emptiness sometimes.... It does ease a bit after a while and I'm guessing it does go completely otherwise we wouldn't have so many long term quitters on here, good shout getting the Allen Carr book I've ordered it too just to reinforce my quit and get my brain refocused again after my little dabble , as Jen said hopefully it will help :) xx

Hi, congratulations great achievement :

Yes something is missing!

Bad skin

Yellow teeth

Yellow fingers

Bad breath

Coughing

Wheezing

A huge chunk of cash

A life time of fitting in our smoking habits into daily life

Smelly clothes

Putting tele on pause, so we can go for a smoke

Bad health

After reading many posts on here, I guess it takes time for us to adjust to our freedom.... Isn't that great, I hope the feeling subsides soon for you:)

Your doing fantastic, hope your proud and celebrating :):):)

:D look at you go. Well done on the month.

The empty feeling does fade, I don't get it at all now though I do sometimes feel like I've forgotten to do something.

The Allen Carr book is brilliant, lots of fantastic advice and definitely helped to explain smoking to me. The nicotine trap is also exellent.

Good luck for month 2.

Well done on your first month.

That empty feeling does go but its a gradual process. Keep going as you are over the worst now and week by week it gets easier and easier.

Your doing really well :)
