Rather than running away from the nicodemon when he starts, I'm trying to find ways to beat him up so I can handle the craves and keep the motivation strong.
Just preparing myself for the bad days, and i'm noticing it more difficult today so need a plan of attack!
How do you beat yours?

Just keep having a word with yourself, you've done it before so you know you can do it, don't let the filthy little beggar get a hold again! That and diversion - have you tried candycrush
I find walking helps (even if only round the block) as does sugar free chewing gum. Also, I keep telling myself that craves only last 3 minutes and then they'll be gone.
I have a 5 minute cry, feel sorry for myself for a further minute and then get on with the day. I always feel a bit ridiculous for crying in the first place, which actually makes me pull myself together!
- When the cravings got really strong at work i'd walk away from my desk and go for a short walk outside, by the time I got back to my desk I felt ok.
- Lots of mental screaming at the nicodemon helps too, language that would make a salty sea dog proud as well
- Exercise helped much more than I thought it would, it naturally makes you feel better plus you have the added benefit of getting healthier whilst you do it too! win win situation
- Lots and lots of chunky kit kats we all need something to get us through the day in the beginning.
Basically do whatever helps you through those first few days as they are a doozy!
OMG gave up candy crush ( I am on level 361 at the mo)
lol
no seriously I used to walk and walk and walk I think a lot of my early posts start with ' I am going for a walk then see how I feel' it always worked for me
