So im nearly passed my 3rd day!! It hasnt been too bad...infact, the only time I had any real bad inten se cravings was after my dinner!! Im feeling ok too. Had a cold starting from the weekend so thats giving me a hard time...but thats about it!! I always find the first few days are the easiest. Its the excitement feeling of taking control...then by the second week I get bored of it. Just seeing how it goes really.
I have 2 more days to work then im off for a few days. Im glad It worked that way so atleast I have a few days next week to clear my head! Heading to bed as i can hardly keep my eyes open.I slept like ababy last night and was literally crying getting up!!
Hope everyone is doing well too! Its a brill time to quit with Christmas just around the corner!!

Day 3, well done I know what you mean about the rest of the time being harder when the new quit feeling wears off but maybe we need to tell ourselves everyday yippee I'm free so we can keep the good feeling going
I found after the honeymoon period that I had to ask myself "what am I waiting for?". I'd felt like I was building up to something, when in reality I was just heading for a normal smoke free life.
I suppose at first it can feel like you've overcome such a lot that you're waiting for a reward, or for something to change. Well the reward is being you, but a better you, a less stinky you.
You just need to remember to not be stuck waiting to feel differently. Life will just go on and you'll suddenly look around and realise you're a year down the line and as happy as ever!
Thanks for the replies - Im getting there slowly but surely. Today was defo the worst day for me...NOTHING could ease the cravings even a bit. Just one of those days where you question is it worth it...then when you get into bed at night and have another day done you realise it is!!
