Much to my embarrassment I am once again attempting to stop smoking.

I was doing so well and my asthma got so much better, but I let the breakdown of my relationship get to me - and then five months of smoking ensued.

Eugh, such a low point.

Don't feel bad, Im on my fourth attempt, if you don't try you wont succeed.

Just take one day at a time don't look too far into the future and Im sure that this time you will be successful.

Thanks for all the replies.

So far I'm dealing well with cravings, but have the usual tight chest to account for. I'll continue to take meds and hopefully ride it out.

I'm starting a new job in foreign lands in November, so I really want this quit to last. I don't want to look like the sickly smoker!
