Hi I'm a day early in writing this, but tomorrow I'll have completed week 2 and moving into week 3 whoop!
Well anyone reading this who is thinking of stopping, this type of thing has never been me at all, but I can say coming here and reading everyone's posts do help and getting help when you need it.
Had a rubbish day last Friday morning with first real cravings iv had, after few hours it went, it's like a switch clicked again and iv been fine all week no cravings or anything. Noticed today visiting someone who smoked the house was stinking! Iv never smoked in my house, when iv been in smoking houses it's smelly but never bothered me like today. I felt like I was eating it, bork!! IM sleeping much better now but still a little tired, dizzy only a little now and again.
Water, patches 15 for 16 hours and s/free chewing gum working great. But have a little addiction to ice pops lol

Thanks Gemma, yer I noticed it before but not like the other day the house was really bad and did not smell nice at all. Well I didn't wear a patch yesterday as I had my gallbladder out, felt so poorly not once did fags pass my mind, but dose any one think I should put patch back on or not?
Hi Angela, hope you are feeling better. I would see how you get on without the patch and if you need it you can always put it on. I tried a few times to do without it and sometimes got through a whole day.
I love reading all the posts too and it has helped enormously - it really does calm you when things get tough. I have learnt to take deep breaths and keep saying it will pass it will pass - good days and bad days and today I'm having a bad one !
Just wanted to say whatever it is you do never give up.

Ooh I hope you feel better soon!!
With the patches it's up to you completely but I'd be tempted to do the course unless you feel totally fine without them.
It's an individual thing but know it caused me problems not sticking to a whole course of NRT!!
Hi thanks for the replies, day after my operation I decided to put a patch back on as I could not handle any other side effects while dealing with my tummy being so tender and being poorly. Can't believe Friday I will be in to week four, it's mental like how I just do not want to have a fag or think about them much. I know I will have bad days but I just think well its a few hours of feeling like crap and I can move on. One thing I have noticed and it is down to not smoking is how fast I am healing.
