Day 28! 4 whole weeks! Woo hoo! I know it's not long in the grand scheme of things but it feels fantastic knowing i've got this far. It's throwing it down outside, work is way too quiet and my arse is getting bigger by the day but i don't care cos i don't smoke and life's great!
Fan-bloody-tastic!: Day 28! 4 whole weeks... - No Smoking Day
Fan-bloody-tastic!
Well done juju!!
It's a great milestone to have reached and its fab to see you so pleased with yourself - you deserve to be!!
Juju, it's fantastic and a wonderful milestone, so stick with it. It gets even better
Thanks for the comments i had a bit of a wobble and a tant earlier cos i got wound up over the kids not helping out round the house but i resisted the urge to buy cigs and smoke myself stupid. I need to find a solution to bickering kids cos that's about the only time i think about smoking. I think it's mostly an empty threat tho to get them to behave or help out. I'm over it now tho. . . Lack of coffee today probably hasn't helped much. Back on track again now
Yay Juju, you are an absolute star! 28 days is mega, they are the hardest 28 days you are ever going to face in this. Every single day is now easier than they were either before or after you quit.
Now, you are you! You aren't beholden to anything, you're not being "changed" by anything, you haven't anything like this to worry about. You are just you now! Chill and enjoy chick.
I'm so proud x

Great stuff!

Well done Ju
Another milestone chalked off the list....next stop....freedomville.
Just down the road from Quitville, before you get to Happiness Street .... that's the one with the Big House at the end
Can't you just hit them like our parents did?
Never did me any h h h............ harmmmmmm!
Waahay! what? I'm fine thank you Susan!
Stay strong Ju and keep going
Take care
Greg
(please don't complain - no children were hurt during the typing of this post!)
Max, it'll be easier to push you along if you lay off those doughnuts a bit lol
I'm right behind you all the way to the Penthouse!
Nifty, I've been very tempted at times (personally I think a fair chunk of the younger generation missed out the odd clip round the ear - you soon learn right from wrong when wrong hurts!) ....There's probably a forum for that discussion somewhere on't net! I'll get off me soapbox now lol
Thanks for all the encouragement guys and to the newer quitters - you can do it! And you'll be sooooo glad you did
Well done juju, 4 weeks is definatley a milestone.
I know what you mean about the children, because as soon as they get in from school, they start squabbling about going on the computer, and it is the only time I struggle. I have used the line STOP IT, you make me want a cigarette, and they soon calm down, but I don't like to say that as I feel it puts a burden on them.
Yeah I know just what you mean Jane, I'd feel bloody awful if I started again and the kids thought it was their fault ...... Not that I AM going to start again but I still shouldn't really say things like that to them.
One thing I have noticed tho is that I don't get wound up anywhere near as much as I used to when I smoked
Well done juju 4 weeks down that's good going keep up the great work.
