Back to day 1...

Hello, all.

Seems a long time since I was on this forum. Anyway, I lost my quit back in June and it's taken me all this time to decide to go for it again.

Today has been hard, but I am determined. I can't spend the rest of my life smoking. So here goes. Day 1 now nearly finished, yay!

Very good luck to everyone starting on a new quit!

only 2 hrs in!

Hi, i've tried & failed lots of times but decided a few weeks ago that i would finish off any i had today then stop. That happened only 2 hours ago! I've been wearing a patch for the last couple of days, as advised by my "Stop Smoking Nurse", she's an ex smoker which really helps. I've also bought a disposable E-cigarette, should i need to go through the motions, it's got to be better than the real thing. I'm determined to do it this time & hope this forum will help me succeed. Lots of luck :)

Thank you for warm welcome...

Hello again and thanks so much for the warm welcome. Day 2 not too bad for me so far, phew...

I think that coming on to the forum really helps to remind me that I am not on my own and I am not the only one that wants to be rid of the fags!

Fluff, how are you doing today?

Hi Trudy, thank you for your PM. I see you have been smoking for a long time, though not quite as long as I have. I don't think the length of time has made any difference to my quit. Hard to believe it's nearly 7 months and I've saved over £2000. I will keep this quit going forever. It does get easier:D:D:D
