So today is officially day 30 of CT. I have noticed that now I seem to be getting a little short of breath epsiodes. They make me get nervous and a little panicky. A month ago I had a chest x-ray and an EKG, I was checked out last friday by my doctor (breathing, pulse, BP) and all was well.
My chest feels a little tight, but I have also started pushups, dumbells and some light walking, and I sometimes get shortness-of-breath feeling. I havent really been coughing all that much but I do have a pretty consistent dry throat feeling.
I do have a physical lined up for Monday (I will be 30 in sept) and I am going to a physcologist today to talk about my anxiety.
My question are these normal symptoms to be expected?
Thanks in advance.

I am on day 35 of CT I have had anxiety and panicy feelings, but they have passed now, I still have dry throat feeling and strange tastes - also I am still having weird sensations in my head though not as often as I was. I can't say for certain that these are normal symptoms but it seems that most people have these so I would not worry too much.

Well done for getting to day 30! If you are having a medical on Monday you could discuss any concerns you have with the doctor then. You are very young so I doubt that there is anything wrong with you and you have quit at a perfect age. I would not worry and see what the doc says on Monday.
Hi... Don't worry I no its hard not too.. Iv Bin in the same boat too.. With people telling me not to worrie it's normal... But it really is... They all sound like anxiety symptoms I'm day 74 I think and still get a bit of it now.. Try rest up stop exercise untill u see ur GP unless it helps.. Relax sleep if u can watch telly.. Chat with friends.. Take herbal remedies I'm taking kalms, omega 3, multi vit, garlick,
If you look at the other posts on here, you will see a huge range of symptoms and sensations experienced as part of the quitting process. It is all normal.
As Haze has pointed out, you are still very young and it is highly unlikely that you have done any serious damage to yourself at this stage. Now is a great time to kick smoking in the head once and for all. Good luck.
