Hey Amanda, great to see your post....there will be other quitters here who relate more to your method of stopping (don't get me wrong, I'd never heard of Champix or would probably have tried that, I only ended up going cold turkey because I was ill, it doesn't make me better than anyone else!!)...I just wanted to wish you all the best, this is day 19 for me after 22 uninterrupted years of smoking, it does get better as the days go by, but this forum is a Godsend, I would probably not have got this far without it...keep posting on how you're doing
Hi, im amanda and its my first day not smoking for about 20 years; im a 33 year old mother to 3 brilliant girls and i work part time.
Im on my 7th day on champix, which so far ive had none of the side effects asocisted witb it.
I need to quit not just for my family but for myself.
