I've never wanted or tried to quit (or probably never had the balls to), but having stumbled on this forum a couple of days ago, i thought 'why the heck not?'. I just did a month without drinking and hopefully that will give me some confidence looking forward. Good luck to any and everyone else quitting today, Friday 22 June 2012.
Best,
Piki

Good decision. I was the same as you. I had never seriously thought of quitting and then wham. Here I am. Only 11 days so far but it's a lot easier than I thought it would be. Helps to see the money pile up too
Great decision I had never thought or attempted to quit before I tried last September and here I am 9 months later with £850 in my 'no smoking' jar I don't think it's about how many times you try I think it is down to when you are ready to do it and if you are ready then you WILL do it. Good luck!!!
