I have not been posting recently but there is nothing sinister or bad about that (I’m still not smoking). LOL
Everyday, real life seems to have taken priority over the forum over the past week or so and I suddenly find myself short of time. Christmas is coming and we have our son home from New Zealand for the holiday, we haven’t seen him for about 3 years and haven’t had him home for Xmas in about 7 years, so it is a very special/important time for us. I’m enjoying spending a lot of time with him and I intend to continue to get to “know” him again over the next couple of weeks.
I didn’t intend to stop posting it just happened and I will be back again when normality returns to my life !!! Ha. Ha. ( Not really sure what normality is but you know what I mean ???) I do however pop in occassionally for a read.
On my non-smoking life I don’t have anything to report or complain about, I do think about cigs from time to time but that is all it really is ….passing thoughts ….these thoughts can sometimes catch me unawares and be very real but they pass quickly.
If I don’t get to “speak” to all you guys again before xmas I would, very sincerely, like to wish each and everyone of you a HAPPY (smoke free) CHRISTMAS and a very prosperous 2012 (which should be assured with all this money we’re saving).
Be strong AND be careful !!!!

Have a lovely time with your son......
Right back at you.....have a great great Christmas...... and what a great start to New Year it will be when we roll in as non smokers
Have a great time with your son. It must be so hard not seeing him for such long periods, I know it would kill me, but to have him home and at Christmas no less, must be very special.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas and a New Year to beat all others.
Awww thank you for the festive wishes, I hope you also have a fabulous time with your Son, I'm sure it will be lovely for you to catch up and spend time together, especially at this very family orientated time of year. You've made me feel all warm and Christmassy now :).
Best Wishes to you grumpie for a fabulous Christmas and New Year
Have a wonderful Christmas, Grumpie. I'm sure that your son will be so proud of what you have done. And don't worry about us - we'll all still be right here when you get back.
