"You know I'm bad, I'm bad, you know it, I'm bad!".

Well I've made it to the month 1 room and it's Day 21 for me. I'm really proud of myself...I never in a million years thought I'd quit smoking cold turkey. I'm not saying this method is harder or anything...just for me, I never believed I could do it. But I've proven I can so there's no reason why I can't continue to do this.

Feeling really good. Wishing everyone well on their quits.

Lisa x

Lisa – fantastic and really well done.

Keep on keepin’ on – it’s all in our minds – really it is – I am convinced of it.

I’ll be moving to month 2 room next Monday – I’ll save a seat for you and all the remaining October quitters

Whoop Whoop  Look at you little Miss 1 Month Quit ... congrats.

Copied over from Grumpies thread ...

My dad is 53 ......

Lisa42. I thought you 42 ... but your Dad is only 53?

Maybe 42 doesn't relate to your age!

42 is from one of my favourite books "the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" and it's the answer to life the universe and everything :)

I'm 37 and yes my mom and dad were both 15 when my mom got pregnant...which in the 70's was well...pretty unheard of and a bit of a scandal. Well they got married when my mom was 7 months preggers and 37 years later they're still together, amazing really. It makes me laugh as when I tell people I'm 37 and my mom and dad are both 53 I can see the little cogs trying to work the ages they were when I'd have been born....really funny. It's nice to have such a young mom and dad really...but it's not fair that my dad has to suffer so young with his heart. That's life I s'pose but don't mean you have to like it :)
