We've all had days like this and they really do suck. I've sort of got used to it and almost expect the craving to rear its ugly head every now and then. But like you, the thought of going back to the start is a thousand times worse than anything a craving can throw at you. And we both know we've been through worse and come out smelling of roses (not stinky tobacco).
Hope today is a better day and the hangover isn't too bad.
thank you all so much for your kind words and your encouragment
i made it through and of course i am so happy that i resisted...i havent gotten a crave like that in months..but every time we make it w/out smoking we get stonger and know that we can do it...if WE CHOOSE TO!!
i am just feeling a bit more sleepy than usual today...too much wine!!
Brilliant for resisting like you did-My Advice- tap into my sig(THIS SUMS UP EVERYTHING).Its there for a reason. Its there for an EMERGENCY.I quit before for 6 months and started smoking again.Why-.....I took a puff....etc.
Well done Chrissy, we're both coming up to 6 months next week and some of those cravings just jump out when you least expect it. They can be tough but by now we have the knowledge and commitment to fight them off (although sometimes are easier than others:rolleyes:).
