January 2011 Quitters Roll Call...

Hello Fellow Quitters, a group started up on this forum in 2009 known as the lovely Octoquits. I believe it was Lorna and Pol from this group who set up the monthly roll calls at the beginning of each month. I thought this was a good idea as when each person reached their milestone they joined the thread to let peeps know they were still around, if they struggling, etc.

January 2011 Quitters are now entering our 1st month of quitting so if you are still with us then please let us know, if we don't hear from you we will come and find you with the clipbaord :eek:

Oh I forgot to mention the clipboard, it is primarily a used as a register , however the Ocotoquits have sharpened it well and it is also a leathal weapon (the right hand bottom corner in particular) only used if we don't hear from a fellow quitter and have to track them down

Im there, not smoked since 11:50pm 30th December 2010. Hopefully the last time i will ever smoke!

Yay, we're doing great. I am still smoke free. I have been very busy and the last few days having been very good. Despite the best efforts of my eldest to stress me to the hilt, I have resisted any urges.

Hi Jill I don't see it matters where people post I'm doing my quit by calendar months so I'll post in the month 2 forum when I've completed 2 months. I'm not going to post in the 1 year thread until I've completed 1 year so don't see the logic in posting in a forum a month ahead of where I am. But that is just my opinion, I guess it's up to the individual

I see your logic and I thought the same thing until people from other months came and said that the way they did it was they are in their second month of not smoking and will write their experience in that section so I took that on board.

I will just go with the flow and be a sheep!

I don't think it really matters unless a mod comes on and says you should post here or there, I'm going stick to my logic just because it makes sense to me and I don't want to count my chickens so to speak but hey that's my way of thinking. I've never really been a sheep follower

Mods does it matter if we post in month 2 or 1. I thought 1 month when 1 month quit, 2 month when 2 month quit, etc. Or doesn't it matter? Feel free to clarify if needed if not I'll do my own thing until told otherwise
