53 days

tried a bit of everything but used nothing for a week

7lb heavier but joined the gym yesterday and so far swam 40 lenghts and relaxed in the steam room for 20 min.

Feeling great now

Hey all, I too am a Jan 2012 quitter and still going strong......do you people realise it has been 8 weeks???? Well done everyone

Just a quick thing.....do we notice symptoms of things more now we don't smoke?.......Enlightening everyone now.......I have had really sore thumb joints for a few years now and although I have never been diagnosed with anything I have put it down to age and maybe rheumatism??? Well since giving up smoking the pain has worsened so am now on cod liver oil tablets to loosen the joints???

Can it really be that much more painful since not smoking?

ForeverFree.... Quit 11 January, Cold Turkey after smoking around 20/25 a day for 10 years. I have saved close to $ 1000.00

I feel amazing... with the money saved, I have joined the gym and was given a wonderful compliment by the trainer about how 'fit' I am because I was able to keep up with the running like everyone else.. Was awesome to have my body getting tired before my lungs giving way & I love smelling my fresh laundry drying on the line with my clear nose LOL :D

I am feeling great! I know there are more of us out here!

I feel great all day every day now...no symptoms or anything..!

Now and again...I will place a 1/2 lozenge under the tongue..

We could name it Jan quitters in March or something - we could even do that each month - & the quitters can tell us how they're going.
