Its Day 1 for me and I am determined to stop, I have a constant cough and I am really worried I have COPD but I am too scared to go to Doctors. So I really want to quit, I have a nicotine inhalator to help me.
Any support would be appreciated,
Thankyou,
Boubat

U have already took the best and biggest step just to stop, i on day 5 now and its the first time i have used a forum, have a few failed attempts, but this forum really has been such a massve help people telling me how they got through cravings and just given u support, so stay positive use the threads as much as needed and people do and will help, well done keep it up
If it helps any I have COPD and it is markedly better now I have quit. Even in the first day I noticed the difference. My OH no longer looks at me in a very worried, concerned way because it sounds like I am going to keel over because I can't breathe. Even if you do have COPD the damage already caused can not be reversed but any more damage caused by smoking stops when you do. Please go to your docs & get his advice.
I have been smoking since I was 16 years old and I am 35 now, I will go to the Doctors but I am really scared of what they might say. My chest really hurts and my cough is persistant and nasty. I have tried to quit before and only lasted 3 weeks but this time I am determined to do it as I know I will start to feel better very quickly.
Thankyou for your support, I feel I am not alone through this and realise if you guys can do it, it gives me hope,
