Maybe a nytol or something mild to help you through the rough patch? Not suggesting replacing one drug with another, but there are over-the-counter herbal sleep remedies that might be worth a try
Well done you, though. I think if I'd had a bottle of wine so early on I would have cracked for sure!
Day 8 for me & my sleep is non existent as well. Also tried the wine trick, didn't work for me either! I have never experienced this so badly before but like you say small price to pay I guess. Might try some nytol or something myself I think.
I am with you guys on Day 8 also! I do get minor sleep disruptions, but nothing too bad....maybe mine are still to come
Today was the first day I didn't actually thing about smoking or cigarettes for the whole day, the thought never entered my head, I was very busy though! I guess it's all good signs and hopefully the road gets easier from here on!
I just love waking up with breath that doesn't stink of smoke and having clothes that don't smell like an ash tray.
Minor annoyance is that none of my flat mates think I can do it, so no support there, they are in-fact betting on when I will break....but I am loving not smoking too much to go back to smoking!
Well done to all the other New Year Quitters, glad to see you all still going strong, I hope this year is going to be a good year for us!
I'm saving me money Joan........... i just keep drinking the left over booze from Christmas in the hope i'll collapse in a stuper and not wake up for 12 hours ;)
I had the same thing, totally terrible sleepless night that went on for almost 2 months. I took some magnesium vitamins before I go to bed and somehow it worked a little bit for me. I also burn some aromatherapy oil to make me feel relaxed. But the reality of it is that you can't really escape these sleepless nights, you just have to go through it and it will end soon.
My withdrawal symptoms are almost over and you too will be over it soon. You can do it!
Congrats on you desition to quit smoking ..Exellent !!
We are all different camper but my advise is to Avoid alcohol And caffeine while you are on first months of quitting ..It’s more about detoxing with herbal teas ,natural juice ,and water
Alcohol and caffeine effect on our sistem is enhanced after quitting smoking ..stay in touch we all love it here !!
