Erm... wind anyone

As the title says ( sorry)

When my mum gave up smoking two years ago she had terrible wind and i mean terrible... it was so bad her hubby slept in the spare room. I said to her then that it maybe a side affect and her bodies way of removing the nasty stuff as such.

Since i gave up i too have noticed an increase in flatulence

I did try and google it and it came up with a side affect of taking champix, but i am not on that and so maybe it is a side affect of stopiing smoking maybe?

On the subject of wind, i can certainly smell other peoples farts worse than ever before. I guess stopping smoking has it's disadvantages.

No ...... it's normal ...just that we can smell them better now with our new clear sinuses , especially if you get a dutch oven given to you

Very funny but very true....

For the first couple of months I ate a lot of dreid fruit....DONT DO IT...

OH had to move out of the bedroom the smell was so bad, daughter refused to enter the bedroom with morning cup of tea....and then, the final straw...it woke me up and was so bad I had to leave the room myself twice in the middle of the night...:o

Don't eat dried fruit now....

OMG Lorna! That must of stunk. Saturday mornings are usually VILE, thanks to the Indian the night before, we've sussed the saturday morning cuddles out now, just don't lift the duvet and all will be fine. Seriously it's really bad.

See i haven't had an indian since quitting (gasp 3 whole weeks and no indian!) so now that Bradders has pointed out that my nose works propoerly now and my farts smell the same as before only difference being is that i can smell them now...ERMMM......i'm worried. Haha.

I would comment on this thread if I actually suffered with this problem.

But to be honest I have never had the poops ever, and its because I am a lady, if I do get windy pops I get OH to do it for me like the queen does, thats why she has ladies maids they do all the poops for her.

So I am poop free and smell beautiful even my Bo**y LOL
