Ok so today was day 8. I was on the step 2 patches against my Quit Smoking Advisors advice, and its been too easy. Only needed 2 lozenges, one in the AM and one after work.
I'm not going to stampede onto the step 3's after this week though, I'll ride out the Step 2's for now and focus on trying to cut out the lozenges, then possibly move to step 3 in two weeks time.
Going well so far, much better than I ever imagined!
Bring on day 9!

I could never have started a quit on step 2 lozenges (I did try once) so good for you. Just take one day at a time & see how you feel. Don't run before you can walk though I got caught out like that
I am surprised I'm doing this well but I do need to keep my willpower as there are times I think "I can't be bothered anymore, lets have a fag."
Gained some weight due to my increased appetite and working out though so definitely continuing my quit and hoping not smoking will be the norm for me as long as I live.

Keep that in mind. Exercise is great for the mind and soul.
