Hi guys. I posted on hear February 2009 but unfortunately was unable to give up at that time.
Anyway here I am back and I am on my fifth day of no smoking and feeling great.
I am armed with fruit and chewing gum, am taking the dog on extra walks and getting through it so far.
I feel completely different about the whole thing this time, I am using Champix but I don't think it is that, although it does help. Anyway, whatever the reason it's good.

I am on day 4 with the Champix too, and I've found so far this time it has been really helpful. But maybe also i'm just in a better head space this time.

I am certainly at the best point in my life for stopping smoking that I have ever been I'm sure that must count for something.
The champix will no doubt be helping too, but the walks are a great way of getting out of the house where the 4 walls tend to get to ya after a while. Better weather soon too so you can walk all the more!
Hey, Just thought i'd introduce myself here tonight as i'm on day 5 of no smoking with the on0off help of champix. Some story to that, but got them today
Well done, keep it up! Im just getting ready for day 5. Chewing gum is my saviour..and so is telling everyone ( I cant take it back now). Still feeling strange, a bit out of sorts, but maybe thats because my body is in shock!
I am amazed at how much my life has revolved around smoking. Couldnt do a thing before without having a cig first! Now I can just get things done, horray! Another bonus to quitting - time saving!
