If you don't see me around on here much it's because something has happened and I don't think I can help others very much just now.

It's all due to a letter that came Saturday I can't go into detail but it rocked me pretty bad (Not a tax bill). I am not just saying this but many would have started smoking again after getting this. Some day I may be able to devulge what it's about.

I like to come on here and try to help others but don't feel I can do that right now. I am on 7 weeks 5 days and I can't give that up so I will try very hard to get through this smokefree. I'll stay logged on for a little while and after I log off don't worry if you don't hear from me for a while I'm sure I'll be back.

Oh Jack - I hope that you can ride this out - you said that the letter could land you in a whole lot of trouble if you can't prove your innocence - well, good luck I hope you can.

Try and keep up the quit - you've obviously got something heavy here, but remember how inspiring you've been to so many.

What a bunch you all are, I can not answer each and every message (post) on this thread individually. All I can say is if I was not stopping smoking I would still come on here just to talk to you guys.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and messages plus the offers to help. The problem I had I still have but I'm hoping it will be dealt with next week and I don't think me staying off here will help me or others on here.

Sorry I found this thread so late but I have been wondering where you were the last couple of days and wondering how you were doing.

I am so sorry to hear you are having a difficult time. I do hope you are talking to someone about it whether it be in here or in real life. You do spend a lot of time helping others and its ok to take some support for yourself.

I am really pleased you decided to come back. You helped me so much in my first few days when I was a bit lost and here I am at day 22. Almost day 23! I really appreciated your kind words and still do.

The thought of you coming down to Glasgow if I so much as went near a cigarette in that first week did frighten me into sticking with it as much as it made me laugh
