Good luck Jack. Let me know how you get on - I'm on champix and dreading the CT bit. I could easily end up hooked on champix instead of fags!

Hi Jack
Good luck with the CT but hope you have a few champix put aside just in case eh
You should be OK as with the champix the nicotine is all out of your system anyway
Try not to be nervous those damned Nico  Demons pounce on any sign of weakness
Let us know how it goes and yell if you need us OK
Love

Go on Jack
Am CT myself, didn't try Champix but have tried NR previously. Notably an inhaler which I forgot one day and...guess what!
Strength of mind and a better understanding of the withdrawal symptoms seems to be working well this time out. You go for it!
Good luck Jack...
I have cut my pills down to one a day this week and yesterday had none at all...mainly because I was working stupily late and didn't eat. To be honest I felt no difference at all.
I was speaking to friend who also quit weith Champix and around the 4 week mark he also came off the pills, just by forgetting them etc etc.
If it feel right then go for it...BUT...dont you dare let me down and not be at our JOINT one month party on Monday!!!!
Hi there Jack
Good luck going CT. Am wondering if the pills are a bit of a 'comfort blanket' for me at the moment so am clinging on at almost 4 weeks. Let us know what it's like going over the wall and be strong!

Hi Jack
Good luck. Champix must have done its stuff for you so hope it goes well when you stop them. I'm just taking half a tablet a day. More a comfort blanket or maintenance dose. I might stay on for another week and then come off completely (keeping a few hidden in the back of the drawer for emergencies - even if it's just pyschological)
Sue
Ive deffinatly got some champix back up supplies ...........just in case
Hi Jack
Good luck my love, what brought on the champix quit? I was thinking about it but I've had a couple of wobbles and decided not too. I don't think I will do the full 12 weeks but I do need it for a few more weeks.
Good luck my love.
Hi Christine
You'll know when it's time to stop them just as you knew the day to stop smoking OK
Love

Good luck with the CT!!!
As far as I'm concerned the course is 12 weeks...so I'm taking them for the full 12 weeks...don't want any excuse for getting a wobble and giving in!
Hi Jack
I think you know yourself when you feel you can stop them.
Took mine for two weeks before i stopped smoking, then a week after two a day, then one a day for another week then i stopped i kept forgetting to take them and didnt notice any real difference at that stage, think the nictotine physical dependance was broken then, its just the habit thats taking a while longer.
Hope it goes well for you hun
Elaine xx
