Welcome Clive and well done.
The first few hours can be a bit odd, you kinda have to keep reminding yourself that you don't smoke, but that's ok it will pass.
Can't comment on the NRT, didn't do it myself, however loads of people around here did and i am sure they will be around to give advice if needed.
I would recommend that you read the links in some of the sigs, it will really help to get your head in the right place.
Keep posting and let us know how you are getting on.
Good luck, keep strong.
Welcome Clive and the very best of luck with your quit.
Welcome as well and stay strong, first 3 days was the tough for me. Don't let yourself talk yourself into taking a smoke. Goodluck!!!!
Congratulations Clive on making one of the best decisions ever.
Things will be a little strange for a while, but it will be worth it.
Keep us posted on your progress and have a look through the other posts, you will get lots of inspiration from them.
Welcome to the forum, Clive! As Bev said, check out as many links in peoples' signature as you can..... members here have been very successful with their quits by reading and learning about their addiction. Knowing what to expect will make things easier for you when dealing with craves. Good luck!
well done clive on making the descion to quit mate.I started off using the patches and lozengers but found i was better off with just the lozengers as i need to " feel " a craving coming on to make sure they work lol
Im only 13 days into my quit but i have done it before for 15 months so i know it can be done and this stuff you are feeling really does go away.Hang in there by day 3/4 u really will feel different i promise.
