You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad
Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be
This link is good for the psychological part of quitting
I'm using Champix as well (tomorrow my quit date) and I'm on Day 10 just now. I have a blog on the Day 1 thread that basically charts my ups and downs and there are loads of folk on here who are quitting using Champix and they have really great advice as well. The main advice I can give you is
[*]Always have something to eat when taking the pills
[*]drink loads of water
[*]keep positive
[*]keep using this forum - it really does help!!!!
Not using Champix i went CT, but just wanted to add my hello's and welcome. Well done on choosing to quit, we are all here to help out if and when we can.
Thank you all for your speedy replies and the wonderful support
I have tried many times to give up this weed and have failed:(, even the loss of my sister 7 years ago to lung cancer (she was just 53!) didn't stop me
But....in 12 days time i'm gonna be a NON SMOKER....boy that sounds sooooo good:)!
