Newbie - About To Start On A New Journey!

Hello to you all:)

I have just picked up a small box from the chemist, hopefully it's contents will set me free:)

Tomorrow i start my course of Champix, i'm a little nervous about taking them but hoping i will be fine. I have chosen 6th October as my quit date.

To those of you that have given up...WELL DONE:) and to those of you that are embarking on the same journey as myself...GOOD LUCK, WE CAN DO THIS:)

I am so pleased to have found this site and welcome any tips. I intend to read as much as i can and in turn help and support others.

Well Hi there:D

Congratulations on making the decision to quit!

I'm using Champix as well (tomorrow my quit date) and I'm on Day 10 just now. I have a blog on the Day 1 thread that basically charts my ups and downs and there are loads of folk on here who are quitting using Champix and they have really great advice as well. The main advice I can give you is

[*]Always have something to eat when taking the pills

[*]drink loads of water

[*]keep positive

[*]keep using this forum - it really does help!!!!

Wishing you all the luck in the world:D

Take Care xxxxxx
