Hi Jadoon
Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good
You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad
Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be
You don't need to be a big drinker to succomb to smoking with a drink OK
Booze and a fag go together like strawberries and cream after all
So my advice would be not to drink when you go out for a few weeks, if you want a drink have one at home where you haven't got any fags [Ihope] it won't be long before you'll be able to go out for a drink again
Best Wishes

Hi jadoon,
Well done on deciding to quit and welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear you smoked on your 4th day but good on you for jumping straight back on the wagon.
The drinking is a trigger for alot of quitters and I personally have not touched a drop since I quit (just over a month) as I am a little nervous that it will make me want to smoke. But everyone is different, maybe lay off the drinking until you feel confident that it will not trigger you to smoke or just have one now n again to see how you handle it.
Good luck with your quit!

Hey Jadoon
Welcome back so quickly after a failed quit. Most people (including me) see a failed quit as a reason to smoke again for a while so big pat on the back for getting back so soon.
I know what you mean about drinking as I am back here after a 6 month quit for the very same reason.
I think it would be a good idea if you stayed off the drink for the first few weeks to give yourself a fighting chance of beating the evil weed once and for all.
Never doubt your decision to quit. You made the right choice
Good luck this time and remember to read read read.
Keep posting
