Day 5 today and I've woken up and had my usual cuppa. The thoughts of smoking are quite strong today so I thought I'd come on here a make a new commitment not to smoke.
I don't understand how for a few days it can feel like a breeze and then all of a sudden it's back!
Anyway there it is, my new commitment for today. I WILL NOT SMOKE TODAY. Even if today is going to be a tough one, I will remind myself that tomorrow will probobly be alot easier.
Hope everyone's feeling strong and ready to fight their :eek:demons today. Mine feel like they're having a tantrum.
Hopeful

Well done for posting hopeful. Well done for choosing not to smoke today. By doing that the next time you face a crave it should be easier. I recall bumping along very merrily then playing a game of tomb raider and suddenly being completely side swiped by cravings. It went away. Remember, you are not gaining anything by smoking. xx
Just because this morning is hard dont mean it will last all day. just keep thinking 2 more days and your in week 2. you can do it babes it will get easyer. Do what you must to take your mind off it and NOT SMOKE TODAY. We are with you mate.xxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Hopeful, I know what you mean I have a good day and seem to managed everything ok then will wake one morning and it is like being back on day one. We will get there
Thankyou all so much. I've had a shower, put a colour in my hair, put a posh frock on, full make up and even wearing some bling. Look like I'm going somewhere special and in fact I'm just going to do the usual Sunday housework thing but it has made me feel so much better. I'm not going to sit around moping about it. I feel loads better, thankyou all from the bottom of my recovering lungs. You are all my angels and I don't know what I'd do without you all.
