Day 7 and feeling low

I am really thrilled that I have reached day 7 CT but I feel very crap, does anyone else? My throat is a little sore and I feel heady, is this normal or am I just getting a cold?

Hiya Missyp,

Sorry to hear you are not feeling so good, It is likely you will get symptoms like a cold when you quit so it possible, but it could also just be a cold either way it wont last that long, 7 days is great so keep at it, it gets better.

Hello to both of you,

The first week is difficult but not impossible to get beyond, feeling sorry for yourself or feeling angry are to be expected but if you keep your resolve you will get past these feelings and start to notice things getting easier so stick with it, it really is worth it.

I had a sore throat and FUZZY head in the first 7 days or so!!! it's just your amazingly resilient body repairing itself after the years of abuse!!! Hang in there, your body deserves the goodness!!

Sorry you feel yukky on day 7 but although you may be getting a cold it's not unusual to feel like this at the beginning of a quit

I promise you it won't last for long
