So you're back on day 1 but you are still with us that's good as although you had a few puffs you learnt a valuable lesson from them They don't solve anything and they made you feel dizzy and sick so as Shabba say's now just Dust yourself down and carry on and you still have all the support we can give you Just hang in there you can do this
I had a cigarette as well . I was dissapointed to only manage to smoke 1/2 of it before realising that it was terrible and not at all as enjoyable as I had imagined. Like me it seems all you have acomplished is to prove to yourself just how much you dont like cigarettes.
Whilst not being an especially good idea having that cigarette has probaly strengthened your resolve to quit..And is no reason to go back to Day 1 .
Do not put yourself back to day 1 if your resolve has strengthened from the brief fail...... it is so easy to become a smoker again after you have a puff.... SO easy but some realize the true nature of nicotine addiction with that one 'oops smoke' and they keep going with their quit ever more so determined...... if that is you, Ytene, then you don't go back to day one You keep going, having learned a lesson.... that's all. My advice though, don't take another one
To you both-you have had a few puffs, you have seen it felt awful , and now it's made you more determined.. so I'm glad you are still here with us all, still quitting, and well done for getting back on the quit 'wagon' and good luck from me
