the money i suppose should be reason enough
but the bad throat you feel makes it doubly rough
so you give them away and count off the days
the freedoom you feel,all numbers of ways
then look back and feel like some sort of fool
all those ingested poisons,it wasnt that cool
as though forty a day is harder to break
then fifteen or eighty,mate its a mistake
no matter what you did in terms of the how
just you stoped for good,that means now
then you can say your an ex-smoker as well
and in your pallour,everyone can tell
cos the longer you smoke,dont kid yourself
about this haggard appearance and deslining health
these are the signs that you cant ignore
half full lungs that cough till they,re sore
i used to smoke and was happy to stop
paying to hurt myself, and i found to hard to cop
if any other product cauaed that much pain
it would,nt be sold openly with no hassle again
hopefully i now live past 100 year old
can tell great grandchrilden when cigarettes were sold
its hard to understand the political view
that makes you were a cycle helmet or get fined too
how many do you think would die from the smokes
but more than leave brain matter on there spokes
with tobacco in hand,you govern unfit
non addictive my eye,its a professional hit
won,t it hurt you because you cant see this lump
that you are creating inside you,dont be a chump
so please stop smoking while you,ve still got the time
because to burn your life away,now that is a crime
