Still strong on day number 2

Its my 2nd day and I'm staying positive, its not as easy as it was yesterday but I haven't caved as of yet which is all good.

I was drinking last night as well which is when I typically smoked the most so knowing that I can hold out whilst I'm drinking has given me strength

All in all a prett good day for me!

Drinking on the first day? That's very brave!

Drink a lot of water, try and go for a walk if a craving hits (I find those things help me enormously - a litre of water can go very quickly as I absent mindedly sip on it)

Good luck, and as Nic says - the first few days are the worst.

Hang in there, don't try and think ahead - just don't smoke NOW.

Wow, i'm off the booze for the first couple of weeks at least. I would def cave in and have a ciggi if i had a drink, so well done you!! Keep it up

I made one bad decision whilst drunk that will live with me for a long time, I asked my girlfriend (at the time) to marry me :eek: Been married 8 years now and I never knew what happiness was until I got married, now I miss it! lol only joking! lol
