hi all finding it hard to stay quit how are you all doing? week 8 now and still on the inhaler and a bit of gum ,why is this feeling so strong to want a cig after so long I am taking my family away for a few days hope I can stay quit :oJimbo

Please don't do anything stupid...like having a fag! You've gone so far so why mess it up? As for your trip, don't you dare light up throughout any of it! I'll be on your case if you do... Hope you have a nice few days though. Have you done a newspaper offer also? Or is this something totally unrelated?

Whenever you think you feel like a fag, take your mind off it somehow. Do something. Read. Do a bit of housework *yawn* Do the hokey cokey...do anything! Just don't have a fag alwight?! No fags for you! You don't want one really. You just think you do and that is a world of difference.

When you see people smoking, laugh at them!

i know what you are going through mate. i was like that two week a go when i

went to the dentist. hate them so bad. nearly got some fags then. it was only

when i came on here that i got the help i needed that day. as everyone has

said. you dont want to go back to day one now. not after you have come

this far mate. you should be please for yourself. keep going mate. some

days will be hard but just think of the long term benefits
