Thought i d better go for a swim today since i ate the contents of the kitchen cupboards over the weekend.
I hope when i get into a routine more i wont feel the need to stuff my face quite as much.... Will I ?? Haha
One thing i have realised though that a lot of my smoking was habit/ routine and i actually smoked when i didnt really want one.
For example when hubbie had one, so did i, when i let the dogs in the garden i had one, even when i went up to feed the chickens or put the washing on the line i had one sticking out of my mouth
Enjoy your swim Mabs, but do take a spare patch in case yours peels off - they're meant to be waterproof but you never know and it would be a shame to have a crave-fest if it did peel off!!

Have a good day everyone xx
Half the time we didin't notice we were smoking!!
It's daft really - I was as bad. When one of the girls at work asked if I fancied one I hardly ever said no - same on nights out and with my friends.
I do think the most of the fight is a mental one - stopping smoking is the easy bit *staying* quit is the battle and learning to be a non-smoker again!!
It was already noticeable that i wasnt as out of breath as i was last time i went and its such early days. I am amazed actually that 4 days have made such a difference.
Had a bit of a dodgy moment this lunchtime, really, really craving but i had 2 ryvitas  and had a sleep for an hour.
Had a bit of a rage a while ago because the internet wouldnt work. I completely lost it, ranting and raving it was quite spectacular actually.
Im usually quite mild tempered so it was a bit of a shock that my temper just came out of the blue!!
Hopefully its just a temporary thing and that wont happen again. Lol
Roll on bed time i want to get today over with. I think today has been my worse day so far.
Ladies, it is unfortunately a cruel and hard truth - taking away our ciggies has turned us into vitriolic, raging, incandescent witches! And when we've come down from that, we turn into sobbing, wussy wimps! NOT an attractive combination - can't wait until things get back to normal!
Um yes, that sounds familiar!!
Went from smashing the hell out of a toilet pan with my iPod on *LOUD* to having a cry
I've just been reading everyone's posts on here and I can relate to almost all of them.
I've just come back for my final attempt at quitting and I'm at the end of day 3. My main reason for quitting is my health and already I'm seeing the benefits.
I'm still as determined as ever that I won't smoke again and I'm confident that I will stick to my guns this time as I know smoking is beginning to take its toll on my health.
Starting to get the tingling of the tongue feeling now and this always makes me think of cigarettes (or rather want one) for some reason. One thing I don't really want to do is substitute the fags with food so I'm making do with a sugar free mint instead until my brain accepts that it won't be getting another nicotine fix.
Hoping I can get through tomorrow without remembering that I used to smoke.
