Hiya all. Right so far so good. Just had a big bowl of porridge to keep the hunger away!lol and feeling OK about the quit at the moment. Nice not to wake up and head outside for a ciigy. I know how I would be feeling if I did smoke: smelly, tight chest, guilty blah blah! If there is anyone out ther who is quitting today then good luck to you! x
[/I have been quit for 11 hours, 23 minutes and 18 seconds (0 days). I have saved £1.40 by not smoking 4 cigarettes. I have saved 20 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 01/04/2008 22:00COLOR]

Cheers, I just had my first real craving but had a drink of water instead and that helped with it! Just going to lay off the sweet snacks, I'm a bugger for putting on weight when I quit. May snack on cereal, that's not too bad. The craving came, and after a couple of minutes went again, I'm sure I'll have more of those during the day to come! Hee hee x
Thanks guys. So far so good! Need to get out of my PJs and get my sorry arse dressed. If I live in my PJs maybe this will stop me from leaving the house to go and buy ciggies hee hee.......
Good Luck Tasha!!! You can do this - easy peasy!!! Wooohooo!!
My top tip... bung some grapes in the freezer & use for snacks / craves.. they're sweet but not fattening!!!
Oh yeah... and... Mojo does pong a bit.. you'll smell him properly next week I expect when ya nostrils return to non-smoking normal! Not sure if that's a good thing though really! Hee hee.. kiddin Moj!
It's going ok. Had my first 2 major crisis's in one morning and not reached for them yet. First 3 huge bills appeared (winter fuel, urghhh, how much????) and secondly my friends workplace, his factory has set on fire and apparently he gave me a spare door key as all of his belongings are inside the building. Mmmmmm I'm not the most organised of peeps and did run around the house paniking about the whereabouts of the key, but phew found it! So that's good for me! Does Mojo really smell, I bet you smell of nice scent really!

Tasha my advice is to eat eat eat (at least try to have some conrol and don;t just eat chocolate donughts).
I put on 6 pounds in a week, i was eating like a machine for about 5 or 6 days, i am now 14 days in, i feel a lot better, hardly any cravings, eating habits back to normal and i'm actually on a diet to lose the extra pounds.
Yes i see no harm in eating loads and worry about losing it after , i have paul makennas book for quit smoking and has some weight loss stuff in the back so will give me something else to concentrate on .
I used to live in london , been up here for 5 yrs now and would never leave , worcester is just lovely and my kids are worcesterites now lol accent and all
