Hi Kay

I used to have a cross trainer a few years ago which I had to sell on as I did not use it enough at the time. They are great for all body cardio work and I would recommend. Try the machine before you get it home however as some can be really noisy (and if you are hoping to exercise in front of the TV, this can be an important thing). Again, the machine is only as good as your intentions to use it ;) Good luck and let me know you get on as I was considering getting a new one?

I am still on the full 1mg twice a day dose - no side effects apart from dreams and so far so good. Craves come and go some bad and some manageable. Still cannot believe I passed the month mark!

CW - Give me the shouting man anyday! I am not known for sticking to my fitness resolutions...

The cross trainer is a machine where you kind of cycle and also use your arms.

No idea what a cross trainer is ... keep getting images now of a red faced man shouting at me as I am trying to do sit ups in front of the TV :(

Has anybody got a home treadmill...are they expensive?? I'm just crazy enough...stupid enough....to go and buy one ya know...

Anything from £200 upwards, but wouldn't you be better off finding a local park and jogging there, now the evenings are getting lighter. You could even take the dogs for a run at the same time :)

Robert - this is really weird!!

I got one for my Mum off ebay - (£400 inc delivery) and it arrived today.. it's MASSIVE!!! Commercial grade and a good quality one.. only trouble is - it weighs.. wait for it!! 17 stone!! Ha ha ha ha.. My Mum and I can't shift it outta the box so we've got to arrange an army of men to get it out and upstairs for her on Sunday!! I think it will be really good though - it looks it.. they retail at £2000 + !

Get on ebay if you want a decent one for much less cost!!!! :D:D

P.S. They are brand new - not second hand! Bargain!
