cant believe it, i got to day 5 today fairly easily, full of confidence then something went inside and i couldnt get wanting to have a fag out of my head any cut a long story short ive had a fag:mad:

felt like i was going to be sick with how dizzy i went:eek:

i cant believe ive had one i feel such a losser

how do u get away from wanting one when does the nagging inside end!!!!!!

Aw so sorry about that The problem is only you can control yourself, the good thing is also that no one on earth can force you into smoking ever again...if that makes sense!! Try and see this as just a blip and go on, learn the lesson and stay smoke free, one cigarette doesn't mean you have to go back to full smoking now does it. You can make it, be confident you do have that strenght inside you.

Now now calm down, you have mearly had a blip. if we are honest, most of have. you know now its not for you dont you ? its a crazy fantasy and is never as good as the thought pretends to be. Right!.....onwards and upwards. you know you can now dont you. Good luck xxx

Blips happens as the others have said try and move on and think of tomorrow as day 6 and not day 1 again. You know know that it is as nice as you thought it was. xx

NOOOO! i don't think it ever ends think it gets easier.keep tiring and don't feel like a loser it happens to all of us.

Hey there, you are soooo not a loser! I too caved in on day 5 (today) crap. Felt crap too - thought what's a drag? Thought about picking a not too wet cigarrette off the ground (it had been raining), rubbing two sticks together and lighting it, don't act like you ex-smokers haven't done this (still pretty gross thought huh?).

Instead went outside of work found a work colleague and had a drag of his - hated it, hated it while i was smoking, thought it was okay...but then hated the after smell, letting myself down, feeling like a moron - you get the idea. But i think - did not buy any AND I HATED IT! So lesson learnt and won't do again - hang in there!! I'm going to call those three drags a blip and not be a dumb arse and do it again (can you say arse on these sites?)

Anyway no more!
