Hi Mrs T, many congrats for taking this great decision, you won't regret it! I have found Champix the only thing which works.. still needs some determination of course.. Best of luck and keep strong

Hi Mrs Terry, l am also on champix. I did 14 days on it before my quit day. Even the day before my quit, l wondered if l would be able to do it, but come the day, it was not nearly as bad as l feared. Keep coming back on here when you get a craving, and before you know it, it will have passed. It really does help to talk to others going through the same thing. See you soon.

I too am on champix. it's good stuff. Nothing ever worked for me b4 and Ive tried the lot - gums,patches,hynotherapy,zyban.lozzies etc You can do it!!!

I empathise with that totaly!! I have got my partner to keep his cigs out of site, and to smoke outside now. That has helped, he looks all skulky and guilty as he keeps popping out to 'take the rubbish' out :rolleyes: I feel quite superior now

its good to know i am not alone but you have to admit its hard when you are always reminded.At work i don't usually think about it until i get home.my next big test will be when his family comes over -they allllll smoke and if i have a glass of wine????? That will be my big test.
