Good morning Barb6374,
Get a load of us, day 11, who'd of thought that...
Especially considering two days again I walked in a shop to buy some smokes and fortunately for me they had sold out of my rolling papers (So I went home and sulked)...
Feeling loads better now though, but Saturday, Sunday and Monday were the worst for me, I thought it was game over on numerous occasions.
I'd like to say my will power saved my but it was more luck than judgement in the end.
It would seem that I am more likely to fold than you (based on my last few days) but I have every intention on getting to Week 3. So i'll see you in the week 3 section of this forum soon, and we will both be able to look back and say "thats the worst bit over with".
And to everyone else out there, the one thing I have learn't over the last few days is; I would have thrown away 9 days of giving up for the sake of 1 cigarette which I would have smoked and instantly regretted, and this would have made me feel better for only a minute or so. Looking back it would have been such a waste for me. So to everyone out there, be stronger than me when you're at your lowest point of the day and you'll have no regrets later on. I put myself in a bad situation and was lucky in the end, I won't let that happen again.
Heya Barb x x
Sleeping is a great distraction when and where possible!
Otherwise a primal scream may help x x
Hope you are feeling better today you are doing so well and have planned this well, so your in it for the long haul x x keep busy and keep spoiling yourself x x

Gav,
I'd like to say my will power saved my but it was more luck than judgement in the end.
That's not true it was all you! if you where so desperate and had crumpled so bad you would of suffered normal papers or even 10 fags (or am i being naive and it was actually the papers that you where addicted to? ). By the time you had got some space in the car to yourself, you had softened and with the run out of liquorice papers news, you just figured 'hey ho onwards and upwards' and put it down to experience, because you are a star and you have worked so hard and all the above things that you recognised
Well done Gav x x you are an inspiration to anyone who sees your posts here, if anyone shows half the strength that you have, they're on to a good start.

Hi Buffy,
I think I am going to cry... That's the nicest thing that anyone has said to me in a long time...
Hehehehehe...
Well it's that time of day, where I think a trip to McDonalds is needed.
It's a funny thing but I never really thought about it before using this forum, but it would seem that I eat alot of take-aways (Or as my Canadian sister-in-law would say, "Take-Outs")...
I will have to put that on the "things to give up list" after smoking is in the bag.
*poke* Gav to free those tears hehehe
lol it is true, every other sentence does seem to involve a take away Anything but smoking right now, is more than acceptable!
Won't help with the moods though! did you see super size me?
just try and remember you can't smoke them fries
Well done Gav & Barb
You are both flying along and doing great Almost two weeks. keep up the good work Love Linda

Aaah a wedding I love a wedding
Ah, nice busy fussing around for a wedding  seems i am the only one not married yet but the busiest with the most kids!! hehe thats what you get for not doing it in the correct order i guess hehehe
I hope the assessment goes well with your son, I have been through similar with my late father so i can empathise, he was ill for quite a few years before. It's awful being so powerless, thinking that someone should love you enough to hear and help themselves x
I can't see how your husband can fail! he has you to live up to, as a source of inspiration and a great source of support x x he has good footing x x
The holiday will be just what you need x x ~Buffy x
Thinks it's too late for a chasity belt for Buffy....hahahahahahahahahaha
ROFL
.............. Chasity what  hehehehehehehehe ...............
I also heard a rumor that you can pregnant just by having sex lollol Some people will believe anything
LMAO @ Buffy
Hi Buffy
I am not married been living together for 28 years (over the brush) my late mum would say I have been married to my eldest sons dad but hes not alive now. Buff dont be like my mum she had 11 kids I am the eldest 10 still living and nagging me hehe. No I love them all we are a very close linda xx
hehe no! bless your mum she must of been super woman!
Maybe 1 more for me, i am not keen on odd numbers lol
Must be lovely growing up in a large family i reckon that when your 1 of many you have only 1 or 2 yourself, if your an only child or large age gap they tend to have larger families! hehehe
My mum died when i was 8 and my sis was 13, my dad was her step dad and she left home soon after (though we stayed close and still are very close) so i kinda grew up on my own at home so thats why i reckon i had a larger family! Thats my illogical logic anyway hehehe
Your not married but you have been i don't want to miss out i want a wedding  hehehe x x x x
