Just started month 3

Just realised that I am 5 days into month 3 (going by date).

Apart from feeling clean and fresh and loads of dosh saved, I'm not feeling to great, and I only hope it gets better soon. Despite having smoked heavily for so long, I have not even had a cough which surprises me.

54 days, almost 8 weeks, just under 2 months (1080 not smoked)

Not sure what sounds more positive days, weeks or months but not long and il have the choice of the 3-4th May will be 2 calendar months abstinent !!

Well done to you on your entry onto month 3, thats brilliant for you and think of how many cigs you've NOT smoked ? It's delightful to picture them all and throw the picture away cos it's not needed anymore....

Well done,

I only had a bit of a cough and that was short lived, so there is no guarantee.

While I did feel pleased to be a non smoker I really noticed the mprovement in how I felt after about 6 months.

Sorry you don't feel to good at the moment,but it takes time for the body to adjust and sometimes we don't realise that it's slowly getting better

I think for me it was that I was a physically fit smoker (but not healthy!) anyway I noticed around the 6 month point that my stamina and recovery rate is much better than before, but I do need more sleep :confused: having said that I used to get by on a 5 to 6 hours a night now I need 7 to 8 which I think is more normal.

Its lovely to see you here! There have been some ups and downs on the way! I too am disappointed to find I have yet another cold and startled to find that my chest feels worse than when I was a smoker and I can hardly breath.

Just getting over the sore throat which has been raging for nearly a month now. No cough just the sore throat which is annoying.
