Day 5! Cant beleive i'm on day 5!

So here I am, day 5, feeling great, had a bad day three as most of you know, but after that i've been great.

Also what helped, although i feel very very horrid for saying it helped, it that a friend has just been told her uncle has cancer, i have been giving comfort and support for her, but it made me remind myself why i was doing this. Not that i'd be immune to it but my chances will have surely gone down! Hard to know how to word it all really as a bit of a minefield! Anyway hope ppl know what i mean and i havent offended anyone!

Back to the positive!

Day 5 nealry over with, well half way thru the day! having my lunch as i type and looking forward to day 6 and day 7! A whole week without smoking, and heres me thinking it was hard to go a 4 hour flight without one!

Boudee Mr Louise is doing great, thing is he could always take it or leave it, i'm a bit envious of him in that respect!

Thanks all for your kind words, this site is a godsend and i dont think i could have coped without it so far, i know i'm not at the end of the road yet and there are proberly more bad days to come yet but i'm feeling good today!

Actually mum has cut down dramitcally since i stopped, she said she does not want to smoke in front of me because she wants me to keep at it, being a bit more supportive now, think because last time i quit i only lasted a day and i think they were expecting me to do the same again!

If she's cutting down now she might pack in soon!

yes im still here on our journey to health lol, findin it a lil hard tho, getting thro on wigleys green,spearmint, chewin gum lol, boudee has just gone to get me some actually she's just returned.....

lolipops are my thing at the moment! Although i've only had one today!

Felt a bit ill today tho, very light headed and a bit dizzy now and then but guessing this is normal?

Out tomorrow night, so be another day going fast, then onto the party on day 7!

lol yeah they work well for me too, only i prefer chewing gum coz i end up bitin my lollys instead of sucking them lol
