Good luck to everyone else out there quiting.

Boudee--how long was you on step 1 before you dropped to 14mg and how long are you staying on 14mg?.
Steve--Good luck for Sat with no patch.I wish i could come off them quicker but i feel i need to do the whole course. Last quit i went onto small patch to early and started smoking again.I didnt have enough willpower.
Its good that everyone gives up differently and what works for some doesn`t for others. It helps people that are just starting to quit to be able to see all sides of quiting.
Beware that some people have been fine at first when cutting down but a few days on the new low dose starts the cravings again. Be ready in case they rear their ugly heads when you think you're on the home straight!
Gum is an excellent idea to give you a little 'boost' and bridge any gaps in your nicotine intake, esp if you are coming off the patches all together.
