It was a kind of spare of the moment thing. I just bought some patches not knowing when I'm actually going to use them. Then as the day went on I really wanted to give it another go.
So here I am, I put my patch on at about 3.00pm and so far so good.
If I get major craves like I did last time I'm going to try lying in bed and just stick it out.
My experience of smoking over the last week or so as been pretty rubbish, I've been exhausted all the time, stinking, it's been burning a hole in my pocket and I just generally hate it.
So onwards and upwards eh.
Thanks, Daniel.

hey, that is almost exactly what happened to me yesterday! it's like the quit found us rather than us deciding to quit, it must mean we are really ready to stop, i'm going to take it as a good omen, best of luck to you,
good on you for getting back into it! try putting ur patch on before you get up....it kind of settles you a bit for when you have to get up for the day! well it works for me sort of! ..... smoking in the morning as much as i hated it coz it made me feel sick! was the hardest cig to break... Im already finding that its the easiest one to not think about!
I was kind of dreading the first morning tomorrow but I'll definately try what you said kitkat, I'll put a patch on then get back into bed and watch some tv. I think I'll do that for a few mornings to come lol.

it works honest! you will be surprised, dont dread it your doing great! punch the sky
Evening/Morning doesn't matter to me. It's stress that gets me. Any little thing out of the ordinary and BANG: Crave City
haha! i get that, and its not funny either when your climbing the walls! give yourself a week....then think i will do a week, and then i will smoke! how quick does a week go, just an idea
. I find the evenings quite easy it's the mornings that get to me the most.
Daniel.
i to used to find my evenings brilliant [ its in my early posts ]
as time goes on your good evenings start to extend and start at about three in the afternoon and bit by bit they start earlier and before u know it u will be fine all day
As soon as I woke up this morning I felt like I needed one really bad. I put a patch on then got back in bed and I felt really restless, tossing and turning and that.
So I got up then made a brew, which I made too milky, so I poured a glass of lemonade which was really flat. Everything was just winding me up and it seemed like everything was just going wrong. So I cracked and lit up.
I'm going to give it another go in the next couple of days.
Thanks Karri, I'm going to give it another go tomorrow. Once I get past the first few days I should be ok. It can be really hard quitting but I don't think I'll ever quit trying to quit
