Breakfast: Weetabix and Greek Yoghurt- 268 cal

HanPanStrawberryJam profile image

The yoghurt is full fat hence the higher calorie count. It's the yeo valley Greek style natural yoghurt, has no added nasties and is lovely and thick.

As a breakfast this is Full of protein, iron and vitamins and comes under my 300 cal limit.

I find this keeps me full until about 12:30 :)

Yep yoghurt with no milk :) be wary of fat free yoghurt, when they suck the fat out they also suck out all the fat soluble vitamins, so it doesn't count as a portion of dairy and actually isn't any good for you. You're better off having the extra 30 cals for a full fat yoghurt and having all the lovely vitamin a, k, e, calcium etc etc :) women should eat 1 portion of full fat dairy everyday :) Do you get hungry mid morning much? Fruit isn't great at breakfast time, it's full of sugar so can cause a sugar crash mid afternoon that makes you hungry, you're better off with a low sugar, high protien high fibre option like Weetabix or eggs and brown bread :)

Porridge all the way for me. Rolled oats cooked mainly in water and a splash of milk. I like sweet porridge so I use Splenda to sweeten it up.
