Hi All,
Can you believe that the latest "new & improved" Moderna booster should be available sometime in September 2002 in the USA? Yep; it's hard to believe, but I will be rolling up my sleeve to get my "fifth" Covid Moderna Vaccine. The first three (100% full doses) really wiped me out, but the fourth booster (only 50%) was much better tolerated.
For MSers, I've read that you should strive to get your boosters the fifth-month mark, after your latest injection. My last booster was in late March. But, given the sub-variants, I will be delaying a month or so to get the newest variety. Let's hope the newest roll out goes smoothly.
All my injections were Moderna. How about you? When do you get your next booster? Did you hear to aim for five to six months to get another booster? How were your side effects?
BTW, I switched from Avonex (1997-2022) to Aubagio in mid-April 2022. I finally went up to the full 14 mg dose in early June. So, this is the long way of my asking my fellow MSers, for those of you who are on Aubagio, did you have to change anything to get your Covid boosters?
When I was reading the Aubagio prescription insert this weekend, I read that vaccines are warranted after stopping treatment for six months. Huh? Although I am certain that this was a "pre-Covid" warning. My fellow Aubagio patients, did you have to alter your dosage or timing when you got your Covid Vaccine and/or boosters?
FWIW, I am always trying to stay informed, but there is so much information out there that it's hard sometimes. And, my MS cog fog never lets me send a concise, clear message. Uggh!
Thanks, in advance, for your input! πππ
