Calling Former & Current Aubagio Users

I love the simplicity of Aubagio yet the side effects have really been awful. The GI Issues and horrible diarrhea, etc. Has anyone stopped Aubagio at age 65. My former neurologist said that MS tx stop at age 65? I will be age 65 in nine short years, can I give it up then?

Generic Aubagio?

Hi All, My latest Aubagio rx was refilled, and it's with the GENERIC version. Has anyone tried (or had their insurance) refill their standard Aubagio with the new generic version? If so, have you noticed any difference? Any changes in your side effects, etc.?

Encouraging folks to stay on their MS treatment

A year ago, my neurologist wanted me to try Aubagio, but after three months I developed Neuropathy and went off of Aubagio. My neurologist wanted me to try Mavenclad but I didn't feel brave enough and suggested going back on Avonex.

Generic Aubagio

For those on Aubagio. My neurologist said that next year a generic version of Aubagio is coming out. They said that means that the insurance probably won't want to pay for name brand anymore.

Belated thank yous

I don’t think Aubagio is controlling my symptoms anymore and was thinking Ocrevus, but after reading experiences with hair loss I’m not sure.

De-escalating from 14 mg to 7 mg Aubagio?

Hi All, As you may recall, I started on the full dosage of Aubagio last May 1, 2022. As the most efficacious dosage is 14 mg, I escalated to the full strength after starting on the 7 mg dose for a few weeks (working with my neurologist's CRN).

Hello Everyone, Your Feedback is Welcome!

Horrible bed side manner and immediately started the "ball rolling" for Aubagio DMT! I take Copaxone because for me with other health issues it's the best option. After very careful thought and pray 🙏 I decided to stick and stay with my current Neuro.

New Covid Vaccine with My New DMT 2022?

BTW, I switched from Avonex (1997-2022) to Aubagio in mid-April 2022. I finally went up to the full 14 mg dose in early June. So, this is the long way of my asking my fellow MSers, for those of you who are on Aubagio, did you have to change anything to get your Covid boosters?

Cap on MS Medication How do I get a refill?

I had to call a different vendor and get a debit card with a declining balance for Aubagio. I just called the other day and was told I have to pay $3,800 for my medication in order for it to be renewed for 90 days. They said my debit card was depleted and that was my balance.

New to ms and Medication options.

Hello, I have just recently been diagnosed with MS. my doctor has tasked me with researching and choosing what medication i want to start with from a list. that list is Tecfidera, Vumerity, Aubagio and Ocrevus. I was hoping for insight from people who have taken these meds.

HELPFUL INSIGHT WANTED

Has anyone taken Aubagio or Mavenclad? If so, could you please share your insights on these medications. I am a nervous wreck at this point and any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Tysabri or Aubagio???

He highly stressed she stop Tysabri and start Aubagio. He said Tysabri was too strong for her mild MS. We are so confused and she doesn’t know who to believe? What should she do?

Neuropathy

I'm off of Aubagio now and taking Cholestryramine to get the Aubagio out of my body in 11 days vs. up to 2 years without. I'm concerned about taking another drug. Vumerity has been recommended. Has anyone had a simular experience with Aubagio and is anyone on Vumerity?

I Was a Sucker

I told them I shopped for coverage every November based on, 1 who covers my medications, specifically Aubagio, and then 2 who then covers my doctors.

Switching meds

Well after a summer of infections I've had to switch from Tysabri to Aubagio. Two life flights to the hospital with sepsis has made that decision for me. I have been on the Aubagio for over a month now with no problems except one small infection that I handled myself.
