Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends, famiy or the special people in your life. I can't believe we are approaching 2022. I just scheduled my Covid Booster Vaccine; has anyone received one yet? If so, could you share your experience with me.

Peace and Blessings

As an immune-compromised individual (due to Avonex for MS), I had a Third Dose of Moderna in late September, and I had my first Moderna vacc in late March & second Moderna vacc in late April.

It's somewhat confusing, but I believe that the "immune-compromised" get a Third Dose (and not a Booster, which is somewhat of a smaller size of the original dose?). I hope all goes smoothly with your Third Shot/Booster, as I know it's important to keep up to date with all the new Covid 19 information.

Be Well.

🙏😀👍

Stay safe & warm, too! In a "perfect" world, I suppose we'll get a "yearly" Covid 19 vaccine as with our yearly flu shots?

Is that "a perfect" treatment (assuming more variants don't take hold). It's a scary time (as if MS isn't enough, right?). 😱

I had the moderna booster about a week and a half ago. I only had a sore arm for a couple days. The pharmacist mentioned because I'm immune compromised about getting the full dose for the booster or just a half a dose. And I picked the half a dose. Good luck if you choose to get it. Also because on the news I heard about the new strain of the virus coming around they mentioned about a modified booster. So then I was thinking should I have waited a couple of weeks to see if they modify the booster and get it then. But too late I already got it.

Had my Moderna booster couple of months ago and it effected me a little worse than the first two. I had a full dose and had headache, muscle aches, flu like symptoms for 3-4 days with fatigue. I am sure glad I have them done ☑️ Had a best friend that didn’t do them and got Covid and passed away 😔 He was healthy and only problem was back issues. Good Luck 👍🏼 🙏😉🐾🐾

I’m seriously immunocompromised and don’t generate antibodies. Despite that my neuro said to get the third one. I got my third Moderna plus my flu vaccine at the same time. No side effects other than a little soreness where I got the Moderna.

I only received 2 doses so far of the Pfizer vaccine and have about 5mths for the Booster. My PCP check my Antibodies and it showed positive after the 6th day of the 2nd dose. Will recheck again to see where I’m at before the 3rd dose. Neuro said I possible won’t need it.

I was afraid that my body wouldn’t produce antibodies like I heard many have stated. Thankful🙏🏾

I’m sure you will do very well when you receive it🙏🏾

Had my booster in October; stiff/sore arm for a few days, so I'm apparently well protected...but I still wear a mask around all children and in public places.

I had my booster quite awhile ago. Same sick overnight reaction. My husband and I had breakthrough Covid the end of October. He hadn't had his booster yet and he was sicker than I. It's worth getting!
