COVID vaccine and MS

Has anyone with relapsing/remitting MS who is not on DMT had the COVID vaccine? If so, I am wondering if you had any side-effects related to your MS? I am scheduled for the vaccine in March, so want to gather as much data as possible about how people are faring.

Thanks!

Haven’t had one yet, but the 65 and above starts Monday in Idaho. Think I am going to wait a while and see how things develop and side effects first🤷‍♀️. Have seen a few deaths related to shots and just being cautious. Have a wonderful day 👍🙏☺️ Ken 🐾🐾

I feel the same way. I should be in the next group for shots. I live in an over 55 community and the health department came here and gave vaccinations to anyone over 65. I'm under 65. The condo community is very fortunate because so many are having a hard time getting appointments and they came to the clubhouse. I kind of want to see if there are any side effects. Also I heard that with the new strain of virus they may tweak the vaccine a little. I hope everyone here stays well.

I have had my first vaccine shot. The 2nd will be Feb 6. I have rrms and i am not on a dmt. No side effects so far. My dad who is healthy as a horse but is 93 yrs old had his first vaccine as well. No side effects. We both had the moderma shot. Not sure if that makes a dif or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks for the reply. It’s very helpful to hear from people who have actually had the vaccine. Glad you had an uneventful experience. You must be really relieved to have the first one behind you.

I am so looking forward to my 2nd shot. Also, once u have done ur first shot u get a way to enter ur info with the CDC thru vsafe. They text u a short survey to as how u r feeling etc and if u have side effects someone will even call u and check on u
