On my last day of double round of antibiotics for my small intestinal infection. So happy!

Sometimes it's the small things. I spent months and months suffering because the local gastroenterologist just could not believe my chronic diarrhea and weight loss could be caused by anything other than sadness. Fast forward a year and finding a new gastroenterologist in Ann Arbor that was able to figure it out what the real problem is I am getting better in that regard. Let me tell you what, those meds made me do sick. I have never felt so awful from antibiotics ever.

However she has said that until the underlying cause to my motility dysfunction is figured out and treated the infection will likely come back and I will need antibiotics again.

I'm pretty happy to not have SIBO for now.
