Called family doctor for another round of antibiotics for sinus infection

Still have a lot of pressure above my eyes and on my right ear and this morning was my last day of my antibiotic so I called my doctor to see if I could get another round of antibiotics to help with this infection and he called at the end of the day (they close at noon today and I told him what was going on and he said he would call it in for me). Just waiting to get a text when the refill is ready. Last time I had a sinus infection I had to have 2 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of it as well, so hopefully this will do it.

Thanks, I hope this works too because I can't stand sinus infections. They seem to last forever because I never know I have one until it won't go away because it always mimics something else

I know what you mean about getting over sinus infections 😑 Just started my second round with antibiotics, steroids, nose spray, and this time an inhaler 🙏 Hopefully it does not turn into pneumonia 🤬🙏 Take care and hope you get feeling better 👍🙏🐾🐩Ken

Thanks so much Kenu My doctor called in another Zpack of antibiotics, hopefully, this does the trick. Just the pressure above my eyes is driving me crazy!! Then sometimes it is in my right ear too! Driving me crazy!! Then, of course, my dog wouldn't let me sleep through the night and kept getting me up to go outside to go out

Thanks WAshingtongirl I hope the antibiotics do the trick this time. I was on Facebook the other day and in my memories that come up every day, one of them from last year was about a sinus infection I had at this time last year!! How is that for timing!! Couldn't believe it!

Sounds seasonal! Maybe related to allergies? I used to get bronchitis as a kid like clockwork when growing up in California. Sure hope you don’t have a repeat this time next year. Hope you are feeling better. 💕

Still, have a headache above my eyes that don't want to let up for anything. Have been taking it easy, drinking plenty of water, relaxing, even started taking Alka Selzer Plus for day/night to help with a headache, sinus pressure, and runny nose among other things. Really helped last time I had this, especially at night. Just drop the tablets in with 4oz of water and drink. Hope this lets up soon cause it is driving me crazy!
