Currently on wait list for the Mclean OCD program, it’s a 4-5months wait right now. I’m in a residential but they have limited OCD groups. I’m very hesitant about going to another program since I’m experiencing extreme “treatment fatigue” and also extreme exhaustion that doctors can’t understand why. It takes me hours to fall asleep at night even with medication but then I struggle to function during the day even after I get to sleep. The program I’m in right now isn’t very strict. We are free to do what we want other than between 1pm-5pm and we live in regular homes, can get passes to go away on the weekends. I’ve been to Mclean before but never the OCD program so I was wondering if anyone could describe the schedule, are there private rooms, etc. I get very agitated when I can’t sleep and adding a roommate to the situation causes a lot of distress since I have a private room right now. Any information is greatly appreciated. 💚
